A common (and clearly very important) question that comes up before Save Up is always, “What should I pack?!” Let us ease your anxiety with a few bits of info…

• Save Up sessions will be taking place in the Savings.com office. In the grand tradition of SoCal tech companies, we have a very relaxed office environment, so there’s no need to bust out the business suits and pencil skirts. Jeans and a shirt will do just fine. If you feel like getting spiffed up a bit, be our guest, but just know it’s not required.
• Our office is one great big warehouse-type space, so the temperature is a little unpredictable. It can be quite cold in the morning and very warm in the afternoon. We suggest layers so that you’re prepared for whatever the weather has in store.
• While the office is very casual, we’ll have a video and photo team in the office to cover the event, and we’re expecting a couple of guests from the media. Additionally, we’re scheduling time for each of you to sit down with the video team to do a short interview that’ll be used in some Savings Nation footage that’ll be implemented in the class curriculum. So, be comfortable, but also be aware that you’ll be on video at some point during the conference, so plan accordingly.
• We’re going to two dinners outside of the office. They’re both at casual places, so again, no need to get fancy. One of the venues is partially outdoors, so bring a sweater or a light jacket as it tends to get cold in the evenings, especially in the beach cities like Santa Monica.
• We’re hosting a red carpet cocktail party on Saturday night, so if you want to get gussied up, this is the night to do it. The Savings.com staff who’ll be in attendance have been asked to wear cocktail dresses (for the ladies) and nice pants and a collared shirt (for the gentlemen).
