On Thursday, October 13th at 3:15PM ET, we’ll be livestreaming a grocery couponing class from Save Up, taught by DealPro Jenny Martin, owner and blogger at SouthernSavers.com! Jenny teaches couponing classes across the country, and this is your opportunity to learn grocery couponing tips from a master couponer right from the comfort of your home!

After Jenny’s presentation, you’ll have an opportunity to ask you grocery couponing questions to the entire DealPro team at Save Up! Simply tweet your question to #SU11 starting at 3:15PM ET on the 13th, and we’ll have the DealPros give you their answers starting at 3:45PM ET!

In addition to Jenny’s couponing class, we’ll also be livestreaming a session being led by a few DealPro contributors about their Savings Stories and about how they started on their path to living a more frugal, saving-focused lifestyle. At 4:15PM ET on the 13th, Donna Freedman of DonnaFreedman.com, Andrea Deckard of SavingsLifestyle.com and Paul & Tiffany Ivanovsky of IHeartTheMart.com and MyLitter.com will share their inspirational stories with the Save Up attendees and with online viewers.

In preparation for Save Up, and these livestreaming sessions in particular, Savings.com and the DealPros are going to host a Twitter party on Wednesday, October 5th at 9PM ET/6PM PT, on the topic of living a more saving-focused lifestyle. We’ll be giving away a few prizes during the Twitter party, including some highly coveted Savings.com mugs, a $50 American Express gift card, and a $150 American Express gift card.

To be eligible to win the prizes, please RSVP via the form at the bottom of the Twitter Party announcement post on the Savings.com blog. We’ll be choosing winners sporadically during the Twitter party, so be sure to tune in for the whole thing for your chance to win!

As if the Twitter party prizes weren’t enough, we’ll also be giving away a grand prize at the end of the 4:15PM ET livestreaming session on the 13th. What is this magical grand prize, you ask? It’s a brand new 16GB iPad 2!

Get Your Fancy Pants (or Dresses) On…It’s Red Carpet Time

Man, oh man. It’s getting close! Three more weeks until Save Up ’11 in NYC! As plans are being finalized, we’ll start sharing details with you about the events that’ll be taking place at Save Up ’11, so stop by the blog every once in a while to see what’s new!

For instance, on Thursday night, Savings.com will be hosting a cocktail party at one of the sweetest event spaces we’ve ever seen (which happens to be at the Eventi Hotel)! And to make this cocktail party even better, we’ll have a red carpet entrance, complete with photos by our event photographer John! Oh, and we may have a friend or two from the media drop by to meet you all as well!

We’re not telling you that you have to go all out, but you’re more than welcome to! Our team will be busting out their cocktail dresses and suit coats for the night. Feel free to do the same, or come in whatever you’re comfortable in!

Livestreaming: What Would You Tune In to See Live from Save Up ’11?

Save Up is just weeks away, and we’re working on finalizing the livestreaming portion of this year’s event. We’d like to have as many viewers as possible join us to learn saving skills from the Pros…the DealPros, that is.

We’d love to develop livestreaming sessions that will resonate with your readers and that will provide them incentive to tune in. As you all know them best, please take a minute to complete the survey below. Your answers will help us finalize our livestreaming agenda.

Save Up planning is in high gear! The team here is working feverishly on getting everything set and ready to go. Travel planning and the agenda are the two items on the top of our list right now. We’ll be adding travel info to the site later this week, but in the meantime, we’d love your input on the type of sessions you’d like to see at this year’s Save Up.

Look Who’s Going to Save Up ’11

Today we’re proud to announce the lucky attendees for the third annual Save Up conference taking place October 12 – 14 in New York City. This elite group of the nation’s top money saving experts will come together at this one of a kind event which offers educational workshops, dynamic speakers and opportunities for networking and collaboration.

Savings.com and its DealPro community have been collaborating on the Savings Pledge, a movement to help America save $1 billion. Announcing Save Up ’11!

We here at Savings.com are thrilled to announce the details of our third annual Save Up conference which is being held at the Eventi Hotel on October 12th-14th in New York City!

Save Up is a gathering of Savings.com’s top money-saving community members – the DealPros. This year’s DealPro attendees will be chosen based on both their desire to help others lead better lives on a budget (shown through the quality of the content on their blogs and the quality of the content they contribute to Savings.com), as well as on their participation with and promotion of the Savings Pledge.

The DealPros who are chosen to attend Save Up ’11 will be hosted by Savings.com for the duration of the conference. The agenda will consist of workshops and sessions aimed at helping them grow their businesses, along with a day of interactive live streaming sessions that aim to reach a wider audience of people looking for money saving tips.
